3 teams in the last 5 years!! 2 of those were the tigers and then theres Northampton and Wasps. Where are Wasps now?? The Tigers as well are struggling; they will do very well to get out of their group. dont give me that cyclical rubbish; English Rugby is on a major slide and has been for years; its called mismanagement.

@thatllbeme - Whether or not English teams are rubbish in Europe is immaterial; you made a bone-headed statement, I've shown you that simply isn't the case. And for 'rubbish', three finals in five years (one of which was an all-English affair) isn't a bad record. Leinster are clearly the team to beat currently, but as with all things they're cyclical and I'd expect Saracens and Harlequins to have a significant say in proceedings this season.

"compare Alesana Tuilagi with his suggested replacement, Miles Benjamin, or Wasps' fliers Tom Varndell and Christian Wade. Someone like Nick Abendanon is different yet again, with a savage step and the ability to slip through a broken field almost at will sometimes. Or Mike Brown, who rather than being like an extra winger on attack, is more like an extra centre!"

Mike Brown is the only one out of that lot that is any good; all the pthers are bargain basement rubbish Tuillangi apart; for what he is effective going forward; just dont ask him to go sideways or backwards or anything but forward; Why are English teams rubbish in Europe??

@thatllbeme - Your ignorance is astounding...but not really surprising. He actually shows how varied the AP is; compare Alesana Tuilagi with his suggested replacement, Miles Benjamin, or Wasps' fliers Tom Varndell and Christian Wade. Someone like Nick Abendanon is different yet again, with a savage step and the ability to slip through a broken field almost at will sometimes. Or Mike Brown, who rather than being like an extra winger on attack, is more like an extra centre!

"Had no idea Tuilagi might be leaving. One of the few reasons I watch the AP." - also he encapsulates how one dimensional the Ap really is IMO. go forward and bosh ; never look for the pass or killer angle. Very 1 dimensional.

Nice to see a coach who can be classy about the possibility of a player moving on. Would like it if Garvey and Benjamin could be as up front. I see no problem with players moving on and both Garvey and Benjamin have given many years to Worcester, Benjamin in particular would have had the opportunity to move on to a bigger club for a while.

Dissapointed to hear that Tuilagi is likely leaving the premiership. Love seeing that guy play week in week out even if he is running over our players at Bath!!!
