Weepu should have stayed at the hurricanes he wasn't really needed at the Blues..

Weepu doesn't need to take the blame for defeat. The Blues tried to run the clock down from fully five minutes out, and it cannot be done.
If anyone is to blame, surely it is Lam for devising such cretinous tactics. The Canes outscored the Blues four tries to one.
The Auckland media can consider the Blues unlucky, but there is no luck in that try count.
Thought: wouldn't it be nice if Lam went to Bath, Hammett went to the Blues and Joseph went to the Canes. Actually, Hammett is probably no more likely to please anyone in Auckland. The best place for him may be Christchurch, as a replacement for Todd.

Saw Weepu play in a warm up match against the Rebels pre-season. For those who haven't seen this guy in the flesh, let me tell you there's a lot of it. Surprised he plays in the backs and not the front row given his physique. He's short fat bloke built for comfort not speed.
