Lyon and former France number eight Sébastien Chabal has conceded that this current season is likely to be his last.
Chabal is currently playing for Lyon in the ProD2, who are currently three points ahead of La Rochelle at the top of the league.
Renowned over the world for his infamous beard and power, Chabal lit up the 2007 Rugby World Cup and won 62 caps for his country.
Chabal tasted success in England with Sale Sharks, lifting the Aviva Premiership title in 2005, before returning to France to join Racing Métro and then Lyon.
"I always thought it would be my body and my head that would guide me," Chabal told Le Dauphiné Libéré.
"My head, it's not going too badly, but my body suffers.
"I'm 36 soon, it becomes hard, rugby gets complicated, so I actually think it will be my last season."
