If Blake is sacked by the wallabies id be more than happy to have him join the England coaching staff .Seeing that AF seems to be unavilable,my mouth is watering at the prospect of the english backs being as skillfull and dangerous as Australias are atm .With the power and pace GR is building in the english pack YUMM.3 yrs to the RWC i definatly think its possible

We all know what a review is - you select your panel - they do the review and bingo come up with what you want. Bad luck David NUCIFORA, we in Rugby know the ability, enthusiasm and knowledge that Phil BLAKE has given to the Wallabies and Robbie DEANS. Who received standing ovations from the players at the WC in NZ after team talks. It was not you David but BLAKE. Are you serious David in even thinking of showing BLAKE the door. From media reports you have employed a skills coach from Scotland - they finished 6th in the 6 Nations so there is something every coach would leave off his CV. Add to this is a Telegraph journalist speaking to a successful Munster coach who infiormed him he was going to take over every position with the Wallabies from coach to bus driver. Munster is made up of many of the Irish run on 15. Now my wife could coach them from the grandstand. BLAKE has received many excellant reviews from both players and coaches throughout Australia and NZ. Our Wallaby defence and skill level has improved dramatically under BLAKE. DEANS needs BLAKE and it is time the coach has a say in who he wants to assist him - step in John O'Neill and take power off DN before completely wrecks Australian Rugby.

As a Bok fan, Australias performance in WC against Boks had a cr^p pack resist a hugely dominant pack. Yes a good ref would have yellow (or red) carded several of them, but that is largely irrelevant in that they won and were coached well to resist a better pack.

I can understand them dumping their forwards coach as the tight 5 has been sh1te for years (but partially covered by their above-average loosies), but Blake? Other than teaching laptop retriever to tackle (cue Mission Impossible theme) what more's he supposed to have done? More to the point, do they have someone better lined up?

AB fan so shouldn't really care but I hate seeing people get shafted for political reasons & I can't help feeling that this is about isolating Deans further in readiness for an out-with-Deans-in-with-McKenzie scenario once possum head vacates his CEO chair.

I find this news perplexing to be honest as the one thing Australia do well is defend and their skills leval is outstanding.Williams going i can understand the Austrlian pack hasnt improved in the scrum / lineout in over 10 yrs or so imo and if it wasnt for some outstanding world class backrow players though out the years would be a major concern not just in the scrum / lineout. But the backs have been Australias main strength i just find this news perplexing

What about David nucifora? he was part of the coaching staff and then slipped back to the HPU and is doing the review- surely this is a conflict of interest? Nucifora did he add anything? typical ARU bull.
