Donnacha Ryan has only started one game this 6Ns. If I were to pick 2 stand out performers for Ireland it would be Ferris and Kearney.
What about Richie Grey for Scotland.
This list is surely a joke.

Is this the actually list?
Where in the blue hell is Rob Kearney?
And Donnacha Ryan has only made one start, Ok he played well but Player of the year?
Where's Ritchie Gray, George North and Wesley Fofana, are you seriously telling me, in Fofana's case, 4 tries in four Six nations test is not even enough to merit a nomination?
Heavily stacked to award it to a player who is part of the winning team, which does not does not always mean the right player has won.
What a Sham!!!

I think that the shortlist is simply collecting the various Men of The Match.
Expect a landslide victory for Parisse, similarly to last year for Masi.

So... no Fofana, no Farrell, no prop (Jenkins, Healy, Cole and Corbisero spring immediately to mind). Mike Phillips rather than Falateau?
For the most part I don't have issues with the players selected but I am curious as to who selected this list. Personally I think only Farrell comes close to selection and I would never expect him to win it. England have had decent performers but not consistently so. Having said that, if Warburton can be selected after playing only two games maybe Parling should have a shout.
Of those listed I would say it's between Denton, Lydiate and Parisse. Although if it was up to me, Wesley Fofana would win it...
